I am in another $19.95 hotel tonight just off the interstate once more because here they are not as concerned with a moving population and demanding ID whenever you pay cash.
This dark room is lit by a small laptop computer which reflects a face I no longer know after losing 50 pounds since this all began. There are police across the nation looking for me with the warning in the NCIC computer that I should be considered dangerous. They are not worried about my physical threat, but they are worried very much about my brain and the creative ways I have eluded their attempts to entrap me thus far.
They have charged me with 11 felonies under wiretapping statutes in Buffalo, New York, because I supposedly read 11 of my wife’s emails which revealed her adultery after we had been married less than eight months.
Her email server was in Canada and mine in the US, so that made the charge a federal and now international crime according to them. Even worse, when I tried to get my wife to accept counseling she cut off my communication so I put her name on a web page and posted her emails and some unflattering aspects of her life but I told no one of the URL except her and her new lover in hopes that shame would change her path.
While the police could not stop that public posting, they looked until they found the false wiretapping charge. The FBI, Border Patrol, Canadian RCM Police, NYS Police and others have spent over $30,000.00 to present a case against me for supposedly reading my wife’s email after she gave me the password.
They wish to use me as the first test case for this crime in the US to give the DA a claim to fame and national recognition. If they win, any of you who read a email not addressed to you specifically or even open a letter not addressed only to you could be charged with a felony and be within the roach infested hell where I now reside.
Their problem is that I got wind of the fix and promised to take my life before giving it over to them to abuse. They have not been able to locate me since. I have electronic paths leading them to one part of the country while I am in another.
One defense attorney told me “It looks like you are going to get a f*cking so lets at least hope they use lubricant”.
I retained a good defense attorney in Buffalo at the last moment but he suggested all I could do was surrender and take my chances and hope for the best. He may not have handled a case like this before and I am currently looking for some experts in this field to put together a team to derail the case or at least convince the DA if I surrender to just charge me with a charge that makes sense.
I don’t know if the Buffalo attorney still wants to represent me. I am desperate for help and spend my days on legal research on the web to better prepare myself.
Want some history? My wife’s and my relationship stated on line with Match.com when back in 97 I was a happy 42 year old business man with a history of training and consulting. I had formerly been a paramedic and firefighter until disabled in a car accident in 87.
Our relationship developed online to the point that the first weekend we met we became engaged - maybe a silly thing to do for two professionals who had both been married once before a long time ago. I have never threatened violence to any person nor harmed any property nor sent any computer virus.
Yes, we are still married, and neither has started paperwork for even a legal separation.
I sold everything and moved to Buffalo from my home in Albany NY but found my new fiancée not ready for marriage. I moved back a year later and end the relationship for three months also by email but was convinced by email once again to suffer a bankruptcy to move back and complete our the marriage of soul mates.
I was in Korea training for the US Army for one month when I became aware our marriage was under stress, but in fact my wife had just gone though a strike at work, and many other transitional stresses, so when asked by a neighbor if my marriage was Ok, I said yes before I saw the look in his eye to tell me there was a visitor while I was away.
I asked her if she had done with Bill Clinton had done and she called me crazy and that proved she should have a divorce. I went away for three weeks to clear my heart and write poetry and returned to get things in order including email when her email was discovered and sent to me. She admitted the affair, and said if she “wanted to f*uck the Buffalo Bills Football Team it was none of my business”.
I disagreed and wanted to save my marriage by following Mathew 15:18 in confronting sinners before letting my wife’s adultery become public with a web page, some letters to neighbors and 45 posters. It was the web page that p*ssed off the police and she got them to believe she was the victim.
My wife is not computer literate above a very basic level. I am a moderate user who can put together a system or two so I built a computer for my wife’s home in Canada and one for me in the US where I was stuck until my wife got immigration to give me status and approval to move to Canada. To set up her email, she gave me her password and mine was open to her and posted on the wall of both houses.
Yes, you can gather from this that we never had a combined household even after marriage, as I tried to give her space for the adjustment and time to do my immigration status. She stayed at my rented house or I at her home.
She gave me her password seven times since I helped her with her national nudist newsletter and collected stories filed with her from her email and my own. She never told me not to access her system.
My wife is a feminist, and been single for 20 years and nudism activist. She is an award winning journalist who now works for CTV W5 in Toronto. It is that power of the press that she used to give what she termed “press blo*jobs” to police agencies to get them to come after me like I was the Unibomber. She had been engaged to cops in the past and had told me how they were easily manipulated by the press in exchange for “leaks” and sources by the press doing a PR job for the cops on some aspect of their organization.
In this case, she was to hype the new computer crime squads. That is the only marketing budget a police agency has…. The ability to trade information to a press that needs it to sell papers for their market share. Kind of a barter arrangement of the slimiest kind. Mass public manipulation and miss information on a world wide scale.
So, what with that background as a overview what happened to me at present?
I read the email sent to me in October. 98.
In November they tapped my phones and email.
In December they got a search warrant and seized my computer, software, printer, manuals, letters memo’s and notes.
With that seizure they put me out of business but to make sure they got NYS to suspend my professional licenses.
They tapped telephones, email, web usage of my friends and clients and began tracking me with my electronic toll tag.
They burst into my friends' houses and demanded they surrender their computers.
They put out a all points bulletin that I was despondent and dangerous.
They tracked my credit cards, bank accounts and mail and told people to turn me in or they would be charged for obstruction of justice and harboring a felon.
By mid December over 500 press hits from all over the country and Canada were coming in with police agency hits from the FBI.
They lied and said they would not issue arrest warrants if I was to surrender but did so anyway.
And by Christmas my wife was gleeful hoping I had committed suicide.
Christmas eve I left Buffalo to consider self destruction and after being talked out of it that night, I have been trying to find other options to save my life.
This is all they say because of reading my wife’s email without authorization. Yet in the next installment, you will see that is not what this is about at all and they have no intention of letting me go to trial over the false charges. So, from on the road and shadows of the hidden world.
